I will be sending some thoughts through in due course just as soon as I can
get my head 'round this new venture!
As I am a first timer I shall be seeking advice from your knowledgable mail
list members.
For your information our climate is classed as temperate with summer highs
approaching 100 F and occasional light frosts in July ~ September. Rainfall
around 40" per annum.
I am hoping to get some AG seeds started this week and have a pumpkin to
show during the first weekend of May (around 135 days).
I realize this will be tight and I will be calling for advice to maximise my
chances.
All information will be passed to my collegues as my main ambition is for
this inaugural competition to be a success. We are a tight knit rural
community who revel in finding excuses for a party and this pumpkin thing
has generated quite a lot of interest
My personal ambitions can start to show next year!
