Marv,

heres what I am thinking , leaf coverage was once thought to be connected to
weight ....used to be thought that you get a pound a leaf...... this has
since been found to be untrue......................it has also been found that
the AG plant grows more plant and leaves than it needs.........sometimes as a
hinderence to the fruit......................at what point does the the
transpiration from the leaves become a hinderance??....................during
propagation of plants some of the foliage is removed because the plant will
transpire water faster than it will take up water.............this is a known
fact............so it is my theory that the more you control the plant the more
you send growth to the roots and the roots suck more water for the fruit. Thus
creating the leaves vs roots which is gathering the most for the fruit?? Some
growers prune out every other secondary with good success and this is a new
area to be tested.................how small of a plant can you get away
with..........before it starts hurting the size of the
fruit?.............................brock
