Does anyone have information on the nutrient contents and PH level for
different leaves? Okay what about hays, like alfalfa, grass, fescue, ect.
This is my next installement of additions to the patch. I am thinking of
adding an obscene amount of both leaves and hay, but haven't decided which
variety.
Any input would be welcome.
Thankx,

Alfalfa: supplies nitrogen, & Triaconatol a natural fatty acid growth
stimulant plus trace minerals.
Grass Clippings: nitrogen and organic matter.
Leaves: most leaves are acidic except Sugar Maple which is alkaline.
Provides humus, calcium, magnesium, nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium. Best
when composted with some limestone before using in the garden. Some sources
claim they repel some insects.
Hope that helps a little.
