Compost

Okay, everyone, I need advice. I thought I had done my fall patch prep.
Thought I put it to bed. But reading the list lately and secondguessing
myself (that's always fun!), I'm realizing I need way more zoodoo than I've
got.

Here's the dilemma. I tilled, did all the other amendments. Put on one
truckload of zoodoo. Planted the rye. The rye is up and growing. Now I
figure I need another truckload or six of zoodoo before I have to give up
the truck.

If I can get more zoodoo, what should I do with it? Put it on the patch
over the rye? Will the rye keep growing up through it? Should I reseed
with rye? Or should I pile the zoodoo beside the patch till later? If I
pile it there, should I throw a tarp over it so rain doesn't leach too many
nutrients out of it?

Thanks,
Beth
