RE: Admire

Alan I know you were just using "Coke can" as an example, but it was not
a good choice. Never place pesticides or fungicides in a food
or drink container! Use a container that is specific for that use and
label it as such. Accidental poisoning is far to common, and something
that none of us want to inflict on anyone. These materials have their
hazards
and we all need to educate ourselves on what they are. Lets not make them
any more dangerous by putting them into a container that a child could
identify
as a drink or food and accidentally ingest. I'm not getting on your case
Alan,
it's just that I have seen this sort of thing happen and it's something we
all
need to think of when we're working with these materials. Your mention of
the
Coke can just got the red lights flashing and the siren wailing in my head
and
I had to respond. Safety is an issue that seldom gets raised on this list,
but
is something we should always be aware of, especially when handling
pesticides
and fungicides. Gloves and eye protection are what we should have as a
minimum precaution. Always read the label instructions before using these
chemicals.
