As a fungicide I used Benomyl last year. Another grower suggested using this
is harmful to the plant since it is a systemic. Frequent applications can put
the plant in shock. Captan I heard works well but I do not have access to,
any suggestions can I buy Captan in the states are there substitutes

Andrew,
Alot depends on what disease it is that you are trying to control. I use
captan and or bravo on my stems to keep them from getting soft. I don't use
captan on the entire plant. Let me know what disease that you are having
problems with and I'll let you know what to use.
