1999 was indeed a banner year for Borers!! no luck controlling them here in N.E.
Mass. Methoxychlor seemed to be ineffective against the borers,Sevin was less
effective then in the past against the cuke beetles, and the squash bugs ran
wild snorting up all the Pyrethin i sprayed on then! Then to add insult to
injury a second Borer wav was born late in the season!!
better luck next year?!
