chris, as you know i live in the pacific north wet. i,ve used heating
cable,s and i,ve used black plastic. just my opinionbut i did not notice a
lot of difference with the heating cable . this is with using a temp probe
down approx 4 to 6 in. i did notice that the black plastic makes a big
difference. i won,t use the cable with the new sites i have but i sure will
use the black plastic. craig
