RE: pumpkins DIGEST V1 #1045

		Hi Team
		 Just a quick line to wish you all a very happy and safe
Christmas and New Year.
		I will be going on leave tomorrow and following the Northern
Lights. I will be standing on the very, very tip of N Island on Christmas
Day lunchtime. I intend to dive with the Dolphins and Whales and do some
serious snoozing on the beach with a fishing rod. I may even put a hook on
the line.
		This has been a very hectic six months at work and I am
about to start yet another restructure. The one good thing is that I will be
getting all event management into one office with an overall brand. This
assures the future of the Pumpkin Festival as a community festival with
formal financial backing and enthusiastic people behind it.
		The patch is still a bit slow but to be honest, at the
moment my mind is twenty feet below the water line patting a dolphin on the
head. When I get back I will write to all the registered pumpkin growers and
see how things are and I will let you know.
