Re: Dill rings
Seems to be genetic "proneness" mostly, but may be almost inevitable
with rapid growth. The 1190 and 1131 both had Dill rings, and the 1131
came within less than an inch, in spots, of winding up as compost also.
When growing, one has to decide to play it safe or go for broke, much
like racing a car, too fast and you blow the engine.
