 fellow list members,
 looking to set up some kind of irrigation system for my patch this year. i 
 have been
 poring over the archives, but haven't come up w/any useful info yet. any 
 ideas or
 sources for info, catalogues, etc. would be greatly appreciated.

I experimented with drip irrigation systems for several years on AG's in the 
80's.  I found it caused shallow rooting.  I would like to try a grid system 
of soaker hoses instead, that would deep soak the entire patch.  Hope to try 
that this year or next.
