But wouldn't trenching destroy those little hair roots that spread out and
fill out all available dirt from here to Timbuktu?? I thought the idea was
to have as many roots as possible? Should leaf-node roots be valued over
hair roots?? We sacrifice a few hair roots because the leaf-node roots suit
our purposes better??
