Pruning Question
Hello List,
Quick pruning question...
I understand that side all shoots should be pruned when they reach 8 feet long,
and the side shoot vine end tucked into the ground.
What about the primary vine, is there a point when you prune it as well? It
would seem reasonable that there would be an optimum main vine length, and
anything after that would take energy away from the pumpkin. But I may be all
wet too.
Possibly a silly newbie question, but I will leave that up to you.
