Plant size is part of it, but terminating growth was the main thing.
Culling has always been the hardest thing for me. With room for just one or
at most two plants, I was always tempted to let a late vine or a late
pumpkin tag along as a backup. George explained growth termination in a way
that really clicked for me. I'm a lot more disciplined about it now.
