Yo Marv,
        We had the same type of pre-emergence weed killer over here a few
years ago.It was that good they took it off the market. I bought several
cases of it and still use it. It kills plants as they emerge from their seed
cases before they get any light on them. I have used it on the patch and it
does no harm from what I can see. I use it on my onion patch. In 6 weeks
only about 10 weeds came through. Its not banned here, they just stopped
marketing the stuff, some stores still have a few left, I buy it when I see
it. Gets a bit expensive doing a pumpkin patch!
