When to start
I am trying to figure out the best time to start atlantic giants in my
area. I live in Wilmington, NC. Last year I had pretty good luck with
"big max"(112 lbs) but I think I started to late in the season(May 23).
By the time I had female blooms the temps were over 90.I think I could
have done better if it hadn't been so hot when I set fruit. Does anyone
one have any advice about when I should plant and how I can keep my
pumpkin alive until the fair in October?
