I was almost wiped out by hail last year, but did make some
great cross's if anyone would like seeds. All the male and female flowers were
covered with remay the night before and after pollination. The largest one was
around 555 lbs. from the 875 Dill and crossed with 802 Wentzell. On Sept.1
& 2 it went down to 2c at night and the fruit kept gaining 20 lbs.
a day. Then the whether warmed with heavy rain and it split on the 6th.
The fastest growing plant was the 1,036 Kline plant, but it suffered the
most hail damage, loosing 3/4 of it's leaves on July 1. It was a dark orange
color and weighed heavy at 377lbs. on Sept.2 and was crossed with the 914
Wentzell. If anyone would like some seeds or to see a picture.
Just email me at d*@air.on.ca I also have
a few seeds from Frankenstine. A 914 Wentzell crossed with the 1,036 Kline
and 780 Eaton. This was used for helloween and had very thick wall's.
