Gary,
you don't say what variety of punk it was, that lasted 6 months off the
vine.
I suspect that immature punks last longer than do those at peak of
'ripeness' or maturity.
My AG that grew to 17.5 pounds [not its fault] by season's end was still
very sound several months later.
