Re: Soil heating cables and Cold Frames
Sherry,
Smithville, Ontario. I live in St Catharines Ontario. So nice to have
someone close by. Heating cables stay in the ground for the entire season,
you don't want to disturb the roots. In regards to mini greenhouses, I'm
entering my 3rd year and still experimenting. I find the shed kit from Home
Depot the most useful, its measures 8ft by 8ft and is good for a greenhouse
then as a wind break and then as a shelter for the pumpkin. Do you need any
seeds or did you get in contact with George Lloyd. My phone number by the
way is 905-704-0544 if you have any questions. Does your husband think your
nuts, my wife does. Have lots of good seeds, mine split last year and helped
my next door neighbor a newby grow a 1056.5 pretty exciting. Don't worry if
your in clay, we are, alls it takes is a little more work. Sorry if I'm
rambling I'm just excited that we have another grower in the area.
