Re: help

Rodney,

Its best to get a soil sample done in a professional lab. Then you can
decide what kind of fert to use. Letting the soils expert help you. In
the book "How to grow world class pumpkins # 2" they have some good
fertilizer info. I highly recommend this book. To answer your questions
yes some growers apply 10-52-10 for a month, then switch to 20-20-20 or
some other balanced fert for about 6 weeks or so then they go to a
6-20-20 or 0-0-44 ....something that doesn't have the high
nitrogen..................but if you don't want to bother you can go with a
balanced all season long or miracle grow
15-30-15.....................because everyones soil is different their
style of fertilizing differs a great deal.
