I never had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Baird, but through the Ohio Valley organization  & other people it was easy to tell he was a VERY giving person & will be missed..........Paul

 It is with deep regret that I announce that Dick Baird, of Canfield passed away last night. He was a warm, fun-loving, and extremely generous grower of Giants, that will be sadly missed by all who were fortunate enough to know him.
