I forgot one other, the Welty 720.5   Although it's a pumpkin all the offspring has been deep green.

Alan, I can give you a idea for what has good potential for throwing nice ,dark, & green. The Hester 895.5
The 2 fruit I know of this year it threw were deep green........Paul

    I would like to plant 2 Squash seeds next year. I would like to pool the list as to what seeds are likely to give me a true watermelon Green fruit with preferable shiny smooth skin. Also shape is important. What is your vote for proven and unproven seeds from 2001? If you wanted a Blue shade are there any seeds that throw blue often?
