You should be very happy with the 744Welty*,720Welty*,615Welty*,220Andrews*,218Andrews*, and any of the Stellpflug line selfed crosses(539decendants x 539decendants) like 560,570,738,611 etc. Len has new 539linex 900lyons crosses that look great. The 615 Welty grew med green colored sq with nice ribs...the stellpflugs tend to be rather rib-less. The 895Hester sq has produced green ones with ribs...darker green ,and of larger sizes than the rest---size due(Im my opinion) to the fact that the growers who grew it were the more successfull growers (Miller,Stellpflug). I think the 900line crosses have more potential than the straight stellpflug line if your after big-big Alan. The 703*Smith looks good but no-one knows till its grown. Don't shy from the smaller weights....they were shock absorbers on my plants  grown for the cross...the 218 grew a 541 in an open field with no care or watering.
Of the squash Ive seen I'd plant all these.All mentioned are a near 100% shot at green/blue.If you want big and a 50-50 shot at squash then there's the usual 616Corkum.815Andersen,878Greer,900Lyons etc to go for.But half the time you get skunked with those aweful day-glow orange things.But then again I know a guy who likes to hammer nails in his hand....to each his own I guess.
 For blue? Hmmm....I got blue from my 738Stellpflug97* and blue from my 672Dill94*.Blue x green =green. Blue x blue=blue....so I think a 539x539 cross should be a fair shot at blue...or search around for an old blue line from nebitt,mitchel,gancarz etc....good luck.....G
