Miracle Grow vs. 10-10-10
I was at Sams Club today and saw a box of Miracle Grow which contained 15
pounds of 15-30-15. The cost was $19.98. I am wondering why anyone would use
this as the cost is nearly $10 for one pound of Nitrogen. If you buy 50
pounds of 10-10-10 you get 5 pound of nitrogen and the cost is much much
less. So, Miracle Grow is water soluble. So, some of it is taken into the
plant through the leaves if you spray it on them. But, is it really worth the
cost? Any solid data?
