How long is your frost-free growing season?

You may have an advantage over us further south because
of your very long summer days. I would think that if you
go all out with hoop houses, soil heating cables, and
general early season protection, you could probably get
a big one to early September.

I've heard rumors that soil heating cables can get a young
plant to grow quicker and blossom sooner.

BTW: I was watching a show on HGTV recently about Fairbanks.
They mentioned how annual flowers do so well there because
of the long summer days.
