I think the ph is really ok but if you must you can broadcast
granular soil sulfer at about 1 pound per 100 square feet after
you remove the plastic.  The sulfer will leach out each time
you water the patch and help lower the ph.

If your water source is somewhat alkiline the sulfer on the
surface will also help neutralize this also.
