It depends how large the grass acrreage is around your patch. If it is
just a border it probably won't make much difference. If it is a large area

would keep it mowed early and continue to mow it to remove the habitat.
Another
trick that I wouldn't normally suggest unless you have the virus problem is
to
plant earlier. Get a big healthy plant going early, set fruit and start
packing on the pounds before the virus hits. If you have a big plant with a
fruit
and then you start to notice the deformed leaves on the new growth, you may
get
by.
