Bob: i do re-call seeing the call go out for pumpkins at the weirdest times over the years? after all my AOL account is the oldest continuously used email account on this board, it goes back to 1995. maybe next year I'll store some away in cold storage, and sell them for the big-bucks?

A couple of years ago, the folks from Fear Factor tried to get 200 in the
springtime. That proved impossible and they had to change their production
plans!
BTW: I hook up the grower and buyer. I don't get involved in the transacton
or profit from it. Growers have told me supply and demand makes for great
prices to desperate buyers. Its really amazing. They pay and assemble the stars,
camera crew and setup. All of a sudden someone in the crew says "Hey, where
do you get pumpkins for the set this time of year?" Then, panic sets in and
the email and/or call me.
