Bumpkin,
Bumkin asked, what is the correct size of a hill? A hill doesn't mean that
you have a mounded up hill of soil. A hill normally refers to a group (hill)
of seeds planted in a small circle of a few feet. An actual hill is counter
productive for it is hard to apply water. Many growers plant a hill of two or
three seedlings and then thin down to the best one later.
