Hi all!
Well, I've gone & done it! We got some nice "spring like" weather here
in NC & I couldn't resist - went to Walmart & wouldn't you know it they
already have their garden stuff out. So I thought - "wonder if they
have any seed starting supplies?" Yep, they did! I bought. Then I
started thinking - "wonder how long it takes these seeds to sprout?"
Hmm - they're pretty big & everyone keeps writing about how tough the
seed hull is, & that you should soak them etc. Then I read on my shasta
daisy seed packet that it takes about 2 weeks for germination. Sooooo,
I planted my pumpkins & daisies in this really neat "mini green house"
thing I bought at Walmart. Kept them in the sun. That was last Tuesday
- they're up already!!!! Uh Oh, what do I do now??? I hope I can keep
everything healthy until end of March/first of April.
I'm weak - what can I say??
Can't wait to plant my sunflowers - I've got to beat Tony!
