Seeds?

I have got a quick question for somebody out there.  This will be my first 
attempt at growing a "larger than average" pumpkin.  I was 
wondering if the Atlantic Giant seeds that you can buy at any garden 
centre have the same genetic potential as seeds that can be attained 
from sites on the net?
