Hey, Is anybody out there in K.C.?

Sounds like a very acurate diagnosis!  I think that the pumpkin board is
surviving fairly well; there are periodic bouts of dissention over issues,
but it's held over during the [northern hemisphere's] winter, and will get
even more active.

The giant pumpkin article for the Kansas City Star newspaper is a "go"; are
there any growers in the greater Kansas City area?  KS or MO... like to get
some quotes!

Andrea, who is wonder where in the world she'll find room for their
pumpkin....
