I am thinking about throwing some money (probably a pile of money) at
sensors that will give me much-needed information about the conditions in
the pumpkin patch. What data do you all think is most important? So far,
I am considering sensors that measure:
soil temperature
soil moisture content
air temperature
air humidity
leaf turgor
Something that detects major nutrient content would be nice, but I don't
know what is available (I am looking for an automatic device vs a by-hand
chemical test kit).
What do you think an ideal system would cost? Imagine you are spending my
money - no no, scratch that - imagine you are spending YOUR money and
want to prioritize the list.
Any thoughts on suppliers?
