For the experts,
Is there anything that I should till into my soil, since I have to turn
it over anyway, that will help with controlling the stem borer problem
and/or help reduce desease. Are there systemic insecticides that run
through the plant itself and not simply on the surface of it?
On a different subject, in talking about growing AGs in hot southern
climates, should we be using the seeds we produce in the south in order
to create a seed that has resistance to southern growing problems? By
using the northern seeds are we not giving our the pumpkins the chance
to produce the needed resistance?
