Mike,
I am thankful for your honesty Mike, but I will have to say that I
think being a friend on this list is just as important. I need not
remind those of us who know how that works, with a little give , a
little take. To say it is boring to you, is trying to stereotype all of
our opinions. To say "We all feel it" when referring to the staleness of
this list is total disregard for others feelings on here. That may be
how MIke from Georgia feels, but not Rocky from Pennsylvania feels. To
say there is nothing being learned the past few months is , as you put
it, "cyber-drivel". I have learned alot here, whether it be the storage
of seeds, and how to do it properly, the nescessity of soil samples and
the test results, or whatever.
These things may seem old hat for you, but to me, it is a constant
reminder that these things need to be done, and to the new person who
just subscribed for the first time with that christmas computer, all of
this is new. A topic that seems "redundant" to you because you have
watched the rehash over and over, might be fresh news for that new
person who is gonna try the big one this year for the first time.
I will say that I have the utmost respect for you, because most people
hide behind thier postings of this nature on this list by not including
thier names. Bravo to you Mike. Your ideas are always welcome in here,
as well as your questions. Sure, no one gets all of thier questions
answered, but I do see a very high percentage getting responses. Ask
your questions a second time if you still have them. Sometimes people
might not have time on thier side when they are going through the
emails, so they delete them with out response. I wish you the best of
luck with your pumpkin endeavors, but please do not say we are all bored
with the postings, because I am part of we, and "I" definitely am not
*YAWNING* like you think.
