Wow, George -- what a great video!!!! I waited to watch it till I could
get the whole family together, & I'm glad I did. It went a long way
toward reconciling them to the Giant Pumpkin! (They were against it b/c
of the huge amount of space involved, among other things.) In fact,
there's even some enthusiasm building. I think it's the prospect of a
party at harvest time....
Based on the video, my family has deduced a few things:
1. George Webster is actually Pete Seeger in the witness protection
program (sorry to blow your cover, Pete!)
2. George/Pete must be in show biz, b/c that video was so slick! (that
was the other Pete Seeger clue) You've set a very high standard!
3. Duct tape is truly indispensible. (Actually, it was the duct tape
on the vine-to-water-jug rig that won my dad over.)
Thanks so much for sending the tape! We really enjoyed it!!
