Greetings Everyone,
I'm new to the list......my name is Kathy Isler, and we've just moved to
a small 5 acre farm in Orange County, Virginia. Originally from Kansas.
I have always loved to grow pumpkins and squash.......and have finally
decided to give Atlantic Giants a try. I've wanted to for many years.
I'd appreciate any tips ya'all might have. Also, being unfamiliar with
these giants.......can they be canned like smaller pumpkins
(egads....imagine all the jars one would have to have) or are they just
for show? Can one save the seeds and grow from them the next year? Any
help would be appreciated. Oh, we have red, red, red soil here.......I
plan on amending it with plenty of compost and organic matter. Thanks
in advance.....:o)
