propagation

Propagation of cucurbits has already been done. The next step is doing the AG.
I tried this on a 1006 plant, but did not purchase the proper equipment so the
cultures got infected and died. I have talked with an expert on this and if
someone has time and money it is a very possible endeavor to clone any plant you
want (maybe next years champ). There is one problem with this in that random
mutation occurs very frequently when the cells go through the callus stage before
embryos are formed, so this may not preserve the genetics of a champ any better
than planting its seeds. E-mail me privately if anyone wants specific
information.
