seed questions

Couple of questions:

1.  Does anybody out there know what the '98 Cole 920 was pollinated with?
I know it came from a 567.4 Wallace, but i don't what the male pollinator
was.  Was it selfed? or open? or crossed?  It wasn't indicated on the
packet that I have.  Also, same question, except for the Cole 734.  That
one came from the 800 (uow) Wallace.

2.  I Have seeds from Joel Hollands 750# pumpkin from '98.  On the packed
he wrote the lineage as follows :  649 x 879.  Now i know the 879 is a
Holland, but was the 649 also?  The reason i ask is that on a packet of
854# seeds from Joel, he wrote 876.5 X 879.  I just recently found out the
876.5 was from George LLoyd.  So now i'm wondering where the 649 was from.


BTW, i purchased both types of tarps last year (one from Dills, one from P
& P).  The tarp that came from the dills was a heavy vinyl type material.
I felt it didn't have enough handles for the size pumpkin it was supposed
to be able to lift, unless you have very strong friends.  The P & P tarp
was made out of a heavy canvas type material.  It had plenty of handles.
In all honesty, i felt the P & P tarp was better, and as a matter of fact,
that's the one i still own, i returned the other one.
