You're right Barb, These "tarps' are really slings made from car seat
belts and 3/4 inch rope which will hold a pumpkin of any size or shape.
It appears to eliminate the need to "roll" your pumpkin onto a tarp or
board for lifting. These slings provide the device to move your prize
pumpkin which can then be lifted by either a group of people or a
lifting mechanism that you describe. Again, the beauty of this device is
it's adjustability to any size pumpkin , easy to make, and at an
afforadable price. Although I've never used one, I can see where they
should work well in securing your prize winner. Agan, maybe some of our
Ontario growers who are familiar with them can comment further....Ken
