I've been a member of the list for five months now and I've taken in
loads of information since the later part of last season. My best
effort (that made it to Oct)in '98 was 374lbs, with one that went down
the last week of Aug @ 139" circ 303" OTT. Now I (finally) have (the
courage) to ask a question (or two) of the group! Does anyone know the
year and the parentage of the 656 D.Dill or the parentage of the 709
H.Dill 97? I obtained one of each seed this winter and would like to
find any info that's out there!! My minds spinning trying to decide
what all to put out this season!......I've been getting anxious for the
season to start - so today I went to the hardware store and bought the
supplies for 1 of my proposed greenhouses that I plan on using this
year. Then I went out side the garage and put it together to see if it
would work. It was 32 degrees out there today! But at least I feel
better 'cuz now I know it's gong to work! Only two more months!
