Re: Time-release Fertilizers

All right. I am going to give away the secret of my success.
The first year I grew an Atlantic Giant, it was at 714 pounds when a rot spot
hit it. Last year I got to 597.5 pounds (and $50 at Elk Grove!) on a side
vine.
I have a little backyard, which never gets full sun all at one time.
The secret, I believe, is called Dynamite. A timed release fert. Little gray
pellets the size of bird shot. $7.00 covers 500 sq. ft. very well.
Or maybe the secret is drip watering, or California Chardonnay.

I would be very interested in hearing other people's responses.
