Re: IPGA Kick-off seed Winner
I love the idea of seed acutions for money,. but too agree with Mike Turner. I
also think it is time to accept the fact that seed auctions are the easiest
self revenued way of promoting and furthering the weigh off sites, like the
ones that pumpkin groups such as Mikes UK group and Brads IPGA groups is
doing.. I do know of groups struggling to keep sponsorships, and barely making
it. Here is an idea to make great sums of money through generous donations for
seeds to benefit the individual weighoffs, and some have trouble understanding
the ethics? If a grower has his seeds included in the auction and is opposed,
then please contact the organization and have them pulled immediately. But lets
get past this idea that most are opposed to auctions, and start raising money
to promote - not deplete - our chances of growing with this sport.
Good luck with the auction Brad, and I furthermore extend my wishes to Mike
Turner, a valuable member of thsi great online community, to please give it
another go, as I for one will support his auction with a bid or two. I also
extend my webspace to Mike, or any group who would like to do an auction for an
organization's benefit.
My two bucks worth.. (Cmon Glenn, 2 cents worth? u can afford atleast a
quarters worth.. lol)...
