Now that Brock has mentioned the 1056.  I'm very interested in hearing
thoughts about seeds that haven't produced as females, but have been great
pollinators.  I have a good feeling about the 1056 as a  pollinator.  Time
and time again we have seen pumpkins produce nice offspring as males that
struggle as females.   I had the same feeling about the 449 because it had
the 990 Bax.  The 990 Bax didn't do real well as a female, but as a male it
was awesome.  I look forward to this years pumpkins that have the 1056 as a
male in their background.  I may be wrong but I think this years biggest
pumpkins will be grown with a seed that has the 1056 as the papa.
Looking for the next magic seed!
