soil test
Hi Everyone,
I recently received the results from my soil test. They are posted below. Any
comments or suggestions regarding what I need to do to optimize conditions
for the upcoming growing season would be appreciated. Levels of phos, pot,
calcium, and magnesium are listed in the very high range. This indicates that
I should go lightly with fertilizer. How long through the growing season will
these levels be sustained before I should begin using fertilizers?
Nitrogen 48ppm
Organic matter 10.1%
PH 6.5 Buffer PH 6.8
Phos 110 ppm
Potass 253 ppm
Calc 2169 ppm
Magnes 435 ppm
Cation Exch 18.6
Thanks,
Ed Pappas
