Seed auctions
Hey, it's a free country. Those who like seed auctions should be free to
participate in them, those who cannot or will not can simply ignore
them. If the associations cannot raise their expense money thru
auctions, they must burden their members w/ higher fees or take it from
them in some other way. I prefer to let as much money as possible come
from WILLING participants.
Unless, and here I welcome enlightenment from the list, Howard Dill and
Ray Waterman are the ONLY legitimate purveyors, in which case we ought
to respect that.
I have more than enough high-quality seeds, thanks to the three generous
growers (Chris Michalec, Alan Reynolds, and Bob Wells) who shared w/ me,
and my only expense was the cost of the three bubblepacks and their
postage.
Like Kevin, I find myself drawn into these discussions, despite my best
intentions. This is how I learn. Thanks, guys and gals!
Kathie
