AG Roots-Quiz #2
The list is a bit quiet now,so time for another AG history quiz.
Recall that the last quiz,with the help of AGGC,identified the names Nathan
and Paula Zehr,Jerry Rose and Don Black,all growers within 4 generations,on
the the mother's pedigree,for both the new world record pumpkin (1140) and
the new world record squash (990).
The fruit grown by the above 4 growers include a World Record pumpkin and 2
years later another pumpkin that was #1 in the world that year.
Task-------identify the 2 above fruit---name the state(s) where they were
grown---name the site where each of them was officially weighed.
Resources------AGGC and the "Canadian Honor Roll"on the Ottawa web site.
Incentive---to the first 5 correct replys to my PRIVATE address,I will send
an email file of the "parents" of the 47 official 700+ pumpkins grown in
Canada last summer.
