After watching the 2000 Pacific Northwest Growers Seminar, the featured speaker,
Dr. Don Horneck from Agri-Check, answered that question by stating that "cheap"
meters are virtually worthless!  The meter that he uses has a probe that costs
$1500 and must be calibrated  daily.  I believe that he has over $2300 in his
meter.  Still wish to buy one?
