805 Pukos &1061 Ciliberto seed giveaway...

I am inviting a grower who wants to grow the 805 Pukos and the 1061 Ciliberto
to help me with the next stage of my cloning and breeding experiment. I may
add more seeds to this list soon.

Growers have learned how to keep the genetics of super seeds alive by
propagating pumpkins in the fall, keep them alive until spring,, then re-plant
and use them as pollinators. I finally took the winter off this season... Hats
off to every one who is "carrying the torch", so to speak, and doing "clone
growing" this winter, or experimenting with it. I'm patiently waiting for
somebody to call me in the fall and ask help to keep a "super strain" plant
alive by propagating it.

This year I'm offering someone who's grown a 500 + to grow the 805 Pukos
seed..... that is if they will grow the 805 Pukos and breed it into a 785
Sawtelle. What ever genetic cross the grower decides for the 805 is up to
them. All I'm asking in return is to grow my 785. With the 1061 Ciliberto, I'm
just asking the grower of that seed to breed it with a 354 Eiffler 2000 [991
Hunt X 723 Bobier]. Those are the seed crosses I'd like to make, so if anyone
really wants to grow either of those two main seeds, that's all I'm asking in
return.

If you are a person who can do this, E mail me. I'll give everyone until
Sunday to respond. The grower with the most experience will be given the
opportunity. I will also offer other great seeds with the same opportunity to
grow them here soon. I probably would grow someone else's seed if I was
interested in the seed genetic they had to offered. A CO-OP of serious growers
into breeding would be a nice thing to take part of. Since I really began seed
collecting back in '99, I've seen an alarming number of growers who love to
play with and create genetics. I am one of those growers ...LOL.
