Interesting thread.
I'm not even sure that the size of the plant is directly related to the
size of the fruit, but I'm still new to this, still learning.
Your 943 Brock seed last year (thank you very much) grew my biggest
pumpkin on my puniest plant in three years of growing: smallest-diameter
vine/stump, smallest leaves = 725 Morgan 03.
By contrast, we had another plant that spread out over all creation and
had huge leaves and produced ZILCH for the weigh-offs.
Have other growers experienced similar results?
